When we spill and expand our interests and occupations into less tidier areas we can create exciting new connections.  The alchemy of  this more  diversified networking  makes new meaning, understanding, and enjoyment.  Hopefully, some of these overlaps will illuminate undiscovered and unrecognized ways for us to encourage each other  to live more creatively and with greater awareness of our fellow travelers.  There are many different ways to hold and touch what we value and present to the world So, let's get experimenting!.

Raising a Ruckus With Quilts:

How to make a quilt for social activism and use it to get your message across.

Are you looking for a new, innovative way to get an important message across or create a unique fundraiser for your important issue?  This is an inspiring and practical workshop that demonstrates in a variety of ways that quilts can be used creatively for social movement learning.  Learn how quilts have played an historical role in expressing important social messages. Learn how quilters, artists, activists, and everyday people (including kids) can join together to create quilts that will make an impact on their world.
